Baltimore is an independent city — it sits in no county at all — and that independence shows up in the housing. Just over half of the city's homes are rowhouses, against fewer than one in seven detached (U.S. Census, ACS 2020–2024). The rowhouse has been the dominant form here since the early 1800s.

We work the curb out front or the pad in the rear alley, and we plan for it: shorter hoses, tighter setup, and a van parked so we are not blocking the block. If you are in Canton, Federal Hill, Hampden, Charles Village or Locust Point, that is the normal arrangement and it works fine — we do it constantly.

What we need from you is one space next to the car. Not a hose, not an outlet — we carry our own water and power. If your only option is a permit-parking block, text us the street beforehand and we will sort the logistics rather than turn up and improvise.

From our Milford Mill base the run into the city is about 10 miles, roughly 25 minutes down I-83, which means we can usually reach downtown, Midtown and the harbour neighbourhoods inside a morning slot. Johns Hopkins staff, Inner Harbor residents and people parked near Camden Yards make up a good share of the city book.
