What you'll actually pay in Baltimore
Mobile detailing in Baltimore County runs roughly $90 to $400 for a single appointment, depending on how much work the vehicle needs and how big it is. That range is wide because "detailing" covers everything from a 90-minute refresh to a full day of paint and interior work.
Here is our own pricing, which sits in the middle of the Baltimore market:
Prices by service
Interior Detail — from $90. Vacuum, shampoo, steam, leather and vinyl conditioning, dash, console, door jambs and inside glass. Express takes about 90 minutes. Standard runs 2.5 hours and goes deeper on carpets and seams. Signature is 4 hours and is genuinely showroom.
Exterior Detail — from $90. Hand wash, chemical decontamination, wheels and tires, paint-safe drying, glass and a protective sealant. The Standard tier adds a clay bar. Signature adds ceramic.
Full Package — from $150. Both of the above in one appointment, which is cheaper than booking them separately because it is one trip and one setup.
The Signature — from $300. Full decontamination, iron removal, six-month ceramic, headlight restoration, engine bay, leather regimen and odor treatment. Eight to ten hours of work, sometimes across two visits.

What actually changes the price
Vehicle size. A three-row SUV has roughly twice the interior surface of a sedan. Expect $25 to $50 on top for SUVs, trucks and vans. Any detailer who quotes the same price for a Civic and a Suburban is either padding the Civic or losing money on the Suburban.
Condition. Pet hair, ground-in stains, smoke odor and construction debris all add real hours. A heavily soiled interior can take twice as long as a maintained one. Good detailers quote this honestly after seeing the car rather than springing it on you mid-job.
Add-ons. Pet hair removal from $35, odor treatment from $40, engine bay from $40, clay bar from $40, headlight restoration from $50, ceramic spray from $60. Paint correction and window tint are quoted per vehicle.
Where Baltimore prices get distorted
Two things push local prices around.
The first is the $50 "full detail" you see advertised around the city. At that price nobody is claying paint or extracting carpets — it is a wash and a vacuum with a different name. That is fine if a wash is what you want, but it is not detailing.
The second is shop overhead. A fixed-location shop is paying rent on a bay, and that shows up in the price. Mobile operations carry less overhead, which is part of why we can hold a lower number for the same work.
Is monthly cheaper than one-off?
It usually is, if you would have booked more than about six details a year anyway. Our memberships run $120 to $320 a month and include a full package every month plus 5-15% off add-ons. The maths only works in your favour if you actually use the visits — a membership you forget about is worse value than paying per detail.
Common questions
How much is a full detail in Baltimore?
A Full Package covering interior and exterior starts at $150 for a standard sedan and runs to $400 for the Signature tier. SUVs and trucks add $25 to $50 depending on size.
Why is mobile detailing cheaper than a shop?
Mobile operations carry no bay rent, so less overhead sits inside the price. You also save the round trip and the wait.
Do detailers charge more for SUVs?
Yes, and they should. A three-row SUV has roughly double the interior surface of a sedan and takes proportionally longer.
